Jose Bessega and Ivo Pallucchini, a.k.a. AMATEUR, are an Argentine creative director duo based in Berlin. Since 2013, they have worked with independent studios and established agencies such as McCann London, Mother London, TBWA/Neboko, 72andSunny Amsterdam, and Uncommon London. With a strong background in art direction and design, they have earned a reputation for their highly conceptual and non-traditional creative approach, culturally relevant ideas, obsession with craft and detail, and an extraordinary ability to translate strategic thinking into bold and provocative visual communication. Their global perspective has allowed them to work across various fields, including advertising, design, fashion, music, film, and architecture, with brands like Adidas, Chivas Regal, Audi, Nike, Samsung, and Netflix, as well as big names like David Beckham, Lisa Manoban, and Camilla Cabello. Their work has been recognized internationally by the New York Type Directors Club (TDC), Tokyo Type Directors Club, the Latin American Design Awards (LAD), The Cannes Lions, and The One Show, and featured in renowned press such as It’s Nice That, Computer Arts, Creative Boom, The Brand Identity, and AIGA. They have been invited to exhibit and speak about their work in Tokyo, Lima, Manchester, Vienna, Hamburg, Munich, Zurich, and the prestigious Bauhaus University in Weimar.
